We’re excited to launch the new SoKen Buddy Program designed to help welcome and support new families as they transition into their first year at Somerset Academy Kendall – and we need your help!

This program pairs new families with current SoKen families who can answer questions, share helpful tips, and offer a friendly connection. Pairings will be made based on grade level to ensure relevance, and connections will be introduced via text as soon as possible. The school will also be hosting a fun event to help everyone get to know each other!

What does a Buddy Family do?
Volunteer families will periodically check in with their assigned new family. While you’re not expected to have all the answers, your role is to help point new families in the right direction and make them feel at home.

The program is a collaborative effort with our school administration, and we’re excited to build an even stronger SoKen community together!
